Training & Seminars
Developing and increasing the knowledge and skill set of both current employees, as well as new hires is important to the bottom line. Generation “X” and “Y” employees expect companies to invest in their growth and are anxious to learn. Seasoned employees often become less productive when not introduced to new ideas. Cross training is also important to prevent the loss of productivity during the absence of an employee. Work related injuries, especially carpel tunnel, are avoided by creating a circuit training program or work rotation.
LSI offers pre-employment training programs that can be customized to fit your facility’s needs. Training programs are designed to be industry specific and/or site specific.
Training classes are conducted at our branch office locations, client sites and seminar facilities including educational institutions with which we have partnerships. We also make training available through an “e-learning” system. This training can be conducted on an individual, rather than classroom type basis.
A few of the more frequently requested programs include classes relating to:
- Pre-employment career readiness,
- OSHA safety
- American Hotel and Motel Association
- Hospitality
- Construction
- Work Ethics/Employee Responsibility
- Sexual Harassment
- Financial Planning
- Microsoft Office
- Call Center
- Law Office
- and more than sixty other categories.
Existing company training programs may also be introduced prior to the arrival of new employees at client locations. This training can be combined with a customized orientation to maximize employee efficiency upon their arrival.
